This project includes aspects in marketing, design and production. First, we decided to design a silk product. Then, considering target groups who will be interested our product, in which we chose Japanese women. From our research during that time, Thai silk was very popular in Japan and the scarves were in fashion.

The heart of this design is proportion and accent. We used golden proportion to specify where to place accents which are twined viscose thread and experimented with the color mixed in thread.

We use the final design to instruct local
weavers in the Northeastern Thailand to produce a prototype.
